Where the Wind Takes Me

For 2024 I am planning to solo circumnavigate Ireland with my 20ft gaff rigged cutter, Curlew.

Along the way I will explore the life stories of historic figures such as; Kate Tyrrell, Arklow born and the world's first female sea captain, Patricia Cockburn, conchologist and explorer who lived in Youghal, Agnes Mary Clerke, Skibbereen born astronomer and Charlotte Grace O'Brien, writer, botanist and social reformer, to name just a few.
